Acrylic paint class set for June 10 at Gallery 194

LAPEER — An upcoming painting class at Gallery 194 is a great chance to paint a fun summer scene.

The Imagination Uncorked class will take place from 1-3 p.m. Saturday, June 10 at Gallery 194 in downtown Lapeer. In this class, instructor Linda Jackman will guide participants ages 10 and above to create a summer pineapple painting. Cost is $25 per person.

Unlike more traditional painting classes, Imagination Uncorked classes invite the participants to bring snacks and beverages. The atmosphere is fun and casual; more like a gathering of friends rather than a rigidly structured environment. No previous experience is required.

Imagination Uncorked classes provide participants with everything they need to create a finished painting in two hours. All participants must register in advance. Tickets are available at the box office in Gallery 194, by calling 810-664-4824 visit centerfortheartslapeer.org.

Gallery 194 is open from noon to 6 p.m. Tuesday-Saturday and is located at 194 W. Nepessing St.
